Special thanks to TallCakes and katherinescollections as I copied the info from katherinescollections post of the same item. TallCakes solved the mystery. I was thinking it was Nucut or NUCUT as I posted two other pieces which were Nucut although a different pattern. Nucut is a family a patterns you can spot from the saw tooth edge pattern. This one was the #537 Footed Jelly.
The base is about 3" wide and it is about 4 1/2" tall.
This was in my armoire which a sort of limbo for my stuff. I have been going through it to see what goes or stays or goes back into limbo. This one stays.
Thank you TallCakes for the additional information.
these NUCUT pieces share the same motifs and can be difficult to discern. I agree this does look much like #212 but the Imperial catalog has this faceted knobby stemmed piece identified as #537 footed jelly. wish we could attach images to comments so I could show the matching catalog image.
Thank you very much TallCakes. I looked up the #537 Footed Jelly and went with that. The description has been revised.
Thank you
