1932-1948 original Standard Oil Crown motor grade gas globe with collar added to the collection. Found this over the weekend in Lebanon, Indiana. I love the patina on this globe!

Dang, we were just there over the weekend too! Went to the Oil and Gas show in Boone county. Hot there, but did find some cool stuff.

Hey Michael, it was a pretty hot and a pretty amazing show! While the prices were high, I was able to get some dealers down to what I wanted to pay. So we walked away with three or four pieces. I'll be posting them soon. I will call next time, I promise! I must admit, I was in sensory overload at the time! So much to look at and hope to buy.
Perry, The gentleman and his wife put on an excellent show there. I'm looking forward at the annual show for years to come. I only live 10 miles from there. You and your wife found you some nice collectibles! Enjoy.

Back in the 60s me and my brother were hunting and came across an old abandoned small gas station in the back woods. The old pumps and globes were still there. We were not collectors then and left them.
