I picked this clock up at an ally sale one of the antique stores by me was having. The vendor was selling it for $5.00 so I couldn't pass it up. Never knew what a synchronous movement clock was till now. It's "spin to start", you turn a knob in back to get the second hand started. It has kept perfect time so far. The only example I have been able to find on the internet said it was called "diamond alabaster" Has anyone seen this particular clock before?
That is a cool looking clock! Love the color!
The clock was manufactured by Whitehall - Hammond between 1928 - 31. The partnership broke up in 1931, Hammond continued making clocks until 1941 then he switched to manufacturing the organs that bear his name.
