Or maybe 1960s. Not a huge amount of info on this cola brand, it was around from the 1940s-1970s apparently but I would not carve that in stone. It does have one of those neat looking bottle designs that ended in the 1960s.
As "Tome" means "drink" in Spanish it is pretty clear it is a Mexican sign. Found it in Santa Fe, New Mexico although it probably came from regular Mexico.
The sign is about 21"x15", it is not porcelain so probably meant for indoor use. Red tends to fade badly in sunlight on metal signs.
I always check the back sides on metal signs. There are a lot of signs that look old on the front but the back looks brand new which means repro.
Nice looking old sign, a fantastic piece.
Best regards,
-Jamie
Thank you very much Jancal20. Just looked it up and they owned by Dr Pepper which seems to be distributed by Coca-Cola.
Thank you very much Jamie. Very kind of you.
