Silver overlay on Loetz isn't usually my thing, but Titania decors are not so easily overpowered. Besides, when the deal is right, it's right. :)
This is an example of Titania Genre 5032, characterized by the regularly spaced pulls downward from the may green (the lighter color) into the leaf green (darker color) field. It is rare to find a Titania in silver overlay where both the glass and the overlay are 100% intact, so this was an awesome find. It's a little over 4.5" tall. Marked "STERLING" on the overlay. This shape and decor were made for L. Straus & Sons, New York.
Beautiful!!!
Fantastic! If you ever get bored with silver overlay, I will give it a good home!
