Kist Sodas started in Chicago n 1929. Somehow they ended up with a bottling plant in Holbrook, Arizona which is a middle of nowhere town along Route 66. Actually there are many sights to see around Holbrook, the Petrified Forest, the Painted Desert, Indian Ruins and others.
I think Coca-Cola took over this company eventually.
Picked this up in Flagstaff, Az. Seemed to be a good Route 66 souvenir.
Found dates on this bottle from 1939-1960. I am thinking 1960 based on the too good to be true principle.
Dug one of these up the other day a little more faded though.
This is a real cool looking soda bottle. From the last pic I can see you have a really nice collection of bottles, they all look fantastic. Great looking bottle and great collection.
