Ball's last wax sealing fruit jar

This Ball Standard is the last wax sealing fruit jar produced. It was made in 1982 as a special production commemorative jar for the 30 years of service of R. G. Simpson. It has an embossed Ball freight car on the back. Ball intentionally forced bubbles to form in the glass to make the glass look older.
