Hi there, hope everyone is having a great Saturday!

I found this in the Goodwill today for .50 cent each. It’s thickness is inconsistent, the round plates are not all exactly round, and there are several bubbles here and there. The blue appears to be swirled in and is not consistent either. Some areas are intense blue while the blue seems to have almost missed some areas. It’s very irredecent on the top of the plates and inside the bowls, but not as much on the outsides.
I marked a couple of the pics to show where you can really see how much thicker one bowl is verses the other bowl. And a pic pointing out what I think is the tell-tell sign of pressed glass.
I’m sure someone can tell me if my guess of depression glass is correct, or not....lol
Looking forward to any knowledge you can share, good or bad.
And I appreciate all comments of knowledge or not!
    Thanks to you all!

Looks like carnival glass. The multi color/rainbow thing makes that about 90% certain.

nb: Examples of machine-pressed glass would include most Depression glass patterns.

What you have is not Carnival, Depression or Pressed Glass. It's certainly iridescent. The difference in edge thickness are most likely just bad or inexperienced glass making techniques. Maybe your glass is apprentice made. It's very difficult to say definitely. Although, it's quite possible someone here will know.

I read a long article about glass bottle making, and it did talk about the grooves or circles you have around the bottom of one of your pieces. But.........that was last night, and unfortunately I can't find the correct link.

I hope some of the information in the links will be of help.

OMGosh, thanks for the guidance Fortapache and Gillian!
Fort, I think like you think as the irredecent color makes it carnival. But almost all carnival glass is cut or etched. And that leads me to agree with Gillian that this could be made by an apprentice and it could be anything basically.
So I think I’ll check out the links and see what I can learn, sometimes it’s the links within a link that has the answer....lol....making me crazy!!

I appreciate the thoughts and links, very much!
      And all the love everyone!
These dishes are unusual to say the least but now I’ve found a candlestick with a mark I have blown up and still can’t read it. About to post and see if you all know what it really says.

Try looking up Artistic Accents , I have a bowl and tumbler very similar ; being made in Turkey . I really like the iridescence on them , I've always got my eyes searching for more pieces when I'm out thrifting .

Thanks LovelyPat, I will do just as you suggest.
Time restraints is my only problem theses days.
      Thanks again!
