Here's another find at the Concord, Calif. Flea Market! The seller said that it might be a watch repair tool, but an old patent date, and a good price, was good enough for me! Wait, I'm not going to buy anymore tools! Well not today anyway! :^D
If you know what it is, or have any ideas, please let me know!
Thanks for looking, all comments welcome! :^)

Hello billretire, Looks like you picked a winner this time lol I checked the patent number, and it did not compute. Then i did some google searching and found this article below.
It appears you have a watchmakers rivet extractor tool, from the link. Very Unique find Indeed!

Thanks for your comment lzenglish, I went to the blog, but never saw a picture, just that they agreed that it was a watchmakers rivet extractor tool! I'm kind of stuck! :^(
I did a google search, but still never saw a tool like mine.

Thank you all for stopping by for a look, and loving what you saw!

There are 3 ways that i would tackle this "what is it" tool bill. 1.) go to the watch forum link below and submit a photo of your tool. I have been a member for some time now, and find they are very good people. 2.) Try and track down the 2 watchmaker tool catalogs given in the blog. And last, but not least, go into the "City", and find the oldest watch repair business in town, and speak with the oldest person that works there. Show him or her your tool, and see if they recognize it. Good Luck!

Very interesting piece Bill. What I think it might be is as a leather hole punch.
    7. billretirecoll billretirecoll, 7 years ago
I could see why, but not that Rick, there's no punch, and if I had a video of the movement, you could that it has another purpose. that steel plate on the bottom jaw moves in and out a little. I think Izenglish, is correct, I just can't find the illustration of the tool, in the catalog that he suggested, from the blog. I like it though! :^D
Thanks for your comment, and the love! :^)
