Trunkjunky…

Found this wardrobe trunk by Hartman, this thing is a monster!!! The interior is emaculate all the drawers and hangers are all intact and in excellent condition. The outside is in what I consider fair condition I have no history on it other than the patent label that was still attached to the inside so I know it was manufactured in 1924. There is a secret drawer on the back of the top drawer accessible only by unlocking and totally removing it, I thought that was kinda cool!!! Anything anyone can tell me more about it would be great and is there a market for this huge trunk i wonder? Should I try to restore it or just clean it up real good and shine the brass? The leather that binds around the exterior is in need of a little tlc, how to go about conditioning it without destroying it? Hope y'all like it, I myself am amazed at the craftsmanship and durability with which these amazing trunks are made!!! In today's world it is hard to find anything that didn't come off a conveyer belt and has China stamped on the bottom. Maybe I will sail around the world with this trunk, maybe have a grand adventure!!!
