This desk has been in my family for years. I'm interested in finding its value. This desk was made by Heywood and Wakefield and was produced in 1916 (says the desk markings).

Nice school desk-- these are commonly found in the $35- $75 range. The Heywood- Wakefield markings may add a premium and attract more interest than a "typical" desk.

I really don,t think this is a 1916 deck...I have a 1916 deck and it is portable and it has a chalk board and a scroll with lessons on the scroll.....good luck
I found this posting because my girlfriend has two of these and we were looking for pricing. I've seen them on eBay for $189, but I don't know how long they've been up on the site.
You can click Advanced Search in the upper right of eBay, type in your query, and click Completed Listings, the search. Any price in green without a line through it, is what the item sold for (beware if it's free local pick-up or not). Factor in shipping, and there's your value. Black prices are what the item didn't sell for.
Now I look at these things and understand how it was a long time ago. Now everything is much simpler and the use of a smartphone https://www.igeekphone.com/5-ways-your-smartphone-can-help-you-with-your-study/ will flash every minute. I think you need to read this article on the topic 5 ways your smartphone can help you with your study.
