A turquoise footed bowl in airbrush made by the Fürst Adolf-Werkstätte für Kunstkeramik (1912-1971), in Bückeburg. this is a 1930s design.
At first the "Fürst Adolf-Werkstätte für Kunstkeramik" (Prince Adolf workshop for art pottery" has been an apprenticeship workshop for the art and handicraft school and has been founded in 1912 by the Prince Adolf zu Schaumburg-Lippe.
After the WWI started, the school was closed but the workshop continued its activities and developed into an independent company under the direction of the sculptor Albert Comes(born 1887). Until his death in 1954, all ceramics were produced according to his designs.
