    Bought in France again, for 15€, an antique 1850's genuine turtle shell inlaid box!

    Described as a powder box...

    Indeed use was to keep sweets on hand, the inside was sugar sticky!

    7.5cm diameter, 2cm depth, lenticular shape.

    Lacking center inlay, gold circle half unglued, part of outer lid broken...

    A perfect candidate for kyratisation project :-)
