I found three of these hangers in a box of wooden hangers that were thrown into a group of boxes that I bought at an estate auction. I was going to just get rid of the entire box of hangers but, I decided to at least look through them. It turns out the wooden hangers were old Setwell trouser hangers and are worth a little bit it seems. These three odd looking hangers really stood out and I am having a hard time finding much information on them. The one thing I did find was an ad in the May 1947 Popular Mechanics magaine at this link: http://books.google.com/books?id=094DAAAAMBAJ&lpg=PA262&ots=rjlAgieel0&dq=frohock-stewart%20hanger&pg=PA262#v=onepage&q=frohock-stewart%20hanger&f=false
Stamped on the hanger is this information:
U.S. PATS.

I am really interested in finding out more about these unique hangers. Thanks.
What more do you want to know? The ad shows you how they're used: 1 milled arm in each leg at the cuff along the crease. Spring tension and the milled edges suspend slacks without folding, therefore without creasing. They work very well. It also tells you how they were distributed and hints at how many were made. If you're asking about current monetary value: no idea. I use all of mine.
