HI all apologies in advance for my complete lack of knowledge but I am only new to collecting Asian Pottery and Porcelain and am still learning as I go along. OK I found this lovely Lotus shaped plate/dish in a market next to a Shinto Shrine in West Tokyo when I was there in September this year. The man who sold it to me said it was very old and still had the marks from where it was cut off the kiln. He spoke reasonable English so I was sure I heard him correctly.
It is 15cms in diameter and around 2 cms in depth.
Can anyone else tell me anything more about this piece. Thank you
personnaly i believe in this , i don,t assess this because the stakes are too high if i make an mistake this has to go to an very skilled export
THE stakes are very high hier because it looks a TANG SANCAI AND EVEN THE FAKES are running wel , , so do some homework kid
