Any ideas on how old this is? I would like to restore it, but not sure what finial/ knob looks like that is supposed to go in the holes on the arms. Couldn't find anything like it on the internet. Suggestions?

The holes in the arms you speak of don't show in the photo. I assume they are on top at the end. The chair isn't terribly old so I assume there were wood button plugs in the holes.

Thanks! I bet you're right. Like 20 years maybe?
