I am keen to find out the maker of this vase, so feel free to weigh in with your opinions!
It is made from ruby glass with trailwork & has a satin iridescent finish. The rather "high - shouldered" form is elegant & simple. It measures an impressive 31 cm tall, 7 cm across the polished top rim, & 11.5 cm across the base, which does not have a pontil mark.
This has got to be of Bohemian origin!
Poschinger?
Well known Rindskopf shape, but I am not an expert, just my 2 cents.
Who ever made this is beautiful piece of glass.
If you don't mind would you kindly email me regarding a comments left on my Bowl, I didn't understand it.

Much appreciated

Hi Alan,
Thanks for your nice comments on my vase.
Regarding my comment on your item - there seems to be a problem with the Collectors Weekly site. I have been trying to "love" various people's items they've posted but it doesn't work. I've contacted CW about it to find out what the problem is.
Thanks also to EZA for your opinion.
I agree with Alan, in that this form is also seen in a Rindskopf pulled feather decor. Pretty example!!
Thanks so much, welzebub...looks like it's a Rindskopf, then!
Harrach, ruby, 'banded' vase, 1905
Sorry Northumbrian, but this is a pretty classic Rindskopf shape, and not one identified in any Harrach decor that I have ever seen. Although this decor was suspected to be by Harrach for quite some time, it was eventually linked to Rindskopf using at least a couple of shapes. Here is one of them.
