Definitely!!! Can you post photos of your vase and inkwell, this all helps to further our knowledge. I see the Pasau glass Museum favours Heckert
Shape OK for Heckert and is seen mounted in 4-legged metal stand with verticals in the 4 'grooves' of vase, hence the odd shape.

Many thanks for that useful information. So the amethyst ground rules out Loetz and the shape is inconclusive ,I guess its just a matter of keeping a 'look-out' for parallels on the' web'.
