    Hand painted, 8.5" or 20.3cm tall. Base is bolted on but may be a repair. Marking on base is a square with extended corners lines, orientated like a diamond (a corner up and down) with three horizontal bars within it. Top left of the marking is K, bottom left is T, bottom right is O. The top right marking is illegible.

      It may have been a lamp originally! Good luck! :^)

      No it's never been a lamp. It's been in the family for donkey's years. In any case it's only 8" high and would not have sufficient weight to support a lamp without posing a toppling over threat.

      Please has anyone got a snippet of information; a makers name perhaps, a guess at that makers mark?
