This amazing cuff can be worn with the turquoise side out or the coral side out. Made by my grandfather, Frank Patania Sr. (1899-1964) in sterling set with Burnham turquoise and Mediterranean Italian cut coral. This piece dates to the mid 1950's and is hallmarked with his personal cartouche hallmark.
The center reversible piece is intricately fabricated with design elements Frank Sr. was known for and the cuff is an overlay shadowbox with the design popping out in three dimensions. Fascinating and unique but definitely Frank Patania.
This piece is in a private collection.
This piece was such a treat for me to handle and photograph. It is an amazing design and execution.
