Here are some things I'm thankful for... Welz pieces from Cir 1925-1935. They used to be pretty common (and cheap) but good ones are getting hard to find.
The first one is pretty rare Umbrella vase with a beautiful- line and confetti decor with a blue rim. The glass is fairly thin and translucent.
Next is the purple stripe and dot in a berry cup shape.
The next last one is a cobalt honeycomb decor with handles that serpentine up to the rim.
Thank you - Jm
Wow that first one is quite striking...love it!
Thanx- thats the only one that was high cost
Lovverly!
Just so, Phil
Now that's what I'm talking about... Nice
What I love about your collection Kralik, is you post such different and unique pieces of Bohemian glass that I've never seen before. All three are great, but I love the coupe(?) in pic one!
Thank you so much guys- I tray to stay on the more models side if Kralik and Welz (more deco instead of frilly gold leafed Victorian applications) but it’s hard to determine. I’m convened that old shapes persisted at the same time as these especially when I see a newer (brighter spatter) decor in an old shape. The opposite happens as well - newer shape with an older decor - thank you jm
