This vase in mandarin with black, ca. 1920s, is found on a shape (PN II-6252) that was introduced as early as 1908. There were a series of shapes from that time that were updated in Tango colors in the 1920s. Mandarin is characterized by very subtle color gradations between yellow and orange. Earlier decors found on this shape include Ausführung 2 and Candia Silberiris with Cobalt. It has the acid-stamped oval Czecho-Slovakia mark that was used after 1918.
