This was a find just over a month ago at the Flea Market. It's a nice looking Oak Octagon Wall Clock made by Waterbury Clock Co. Waterbury, Conn. U.S.A. in the late 1800s. It has an enamel painted face with Roman Numeral numbers, it has a small amount of flaking of the paint, and the numbers are fading, and at the bottom it reads Manufactured By Waterbury Clock Co. U.S.A. It has a glass cover with latching brass frame. It's 9" square, and about 3 1/4" from the back to the outside of the brass, glass cover frame. On the wood back cover a paper label reads American Manufacture _ One Day Time _ 6 Inch Lever. _ Waterbury Clock Co. _ Waterbury, Conn. U.S.A. _ 10 Cortlandt St. _ New York /643-645 Market St. _ San Francisco / 144-146 Ingram St. _ Glasgow _ 45-47-49 Randolph St. Chicago
In the left hand top corner a penciled price of 2.50
I think it still runs, but needs cleaning, and is missing a winding key.
Thanks for taking a look at this old antique clock, all comments welcome! :^)
