What to carry for self defense & defense of others ? I like the "knuckles" but too short of a range. What's your choice ? Brass knuckles were WWI that were usually made as trench knives. I've only see several without the blades & assume some factory workers stole them before the blades were installed. Copy of Fairbairn-Sykes made in India & proven very high quality. Then there's the everyday North American Arms that I posted last week.

Pepper spray, a Glock 17 and a Schrade folding knife for low key. Mossberg 590 and Cold Steel Trailmaster Bowie when concealment is not an issue.

Actually Fort, I prefer a grenade, but they frown on one carrying those in this country. Alas, the airlines wouldn't let me bring them with me on the flight up. No sense of humour about my asking at all. Hope Irma didn't get them because the gendarmerie in Quartre de Orleans was broken into and now there are scum running around with military grade weapons in SXM.

Don't follow wrestling Newfld, but a blow to just about any part of the body with these would bring an attacker down. I kept them hanging on the parking brake handle of my truck for yrs.. Just a touch under 2 lbs..

Personally....I prefer an expandable steel baton.
    9. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 7 years ago
I had one of those batons yrs ago. Used those broom clamps to mount it under the front of the driver's seat in my (X)van. Forgot about those. Really effective !

LOL ..dont they go over board on the KY licence ...("Concealed "Deadly" Weapons license ") lol For 40 odd years all mine said was.. concealed licence on a piece of paper with no classes or picture ID ...did they take your prints too...oh my, loins tigers and bears ...hey have a good thanksgiving...try not to shoot your toes off pulling that thing out of you paints ...lol...later

The "deadly weapon" as I interpret it, means to save the county, court costs & prison expenses. No finger prints & done online once you qualify. Luckily, they didn't check for convictions in other countries. LOL !! Joyeau Thanksgiving to you and all on CW/CyberAsylum

BB2...I don't know if you are here in the states here or not but those are highly illegal here...put it as your 2nd photo!!! hahaha I love your interpretation!!! LOL! You are so right.

Hey fort! Guess whats better than papper spray...a can of wasp spray! It shoots 35 feet!!! bad thing is that the damn can is so big! Hard to carry around, for sure ;)
    14. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 7 years ago
Share, carrying wasp spray is a lot easier than carrying a cop ! That wasp spray is bad sh*t ! Thought they outlawed that in the States ? Whatever they outlaw in McDonald's Land, they sell to us. LOL ! I bought #20 & 21 today at a gun show. "I'll be home for Christmas"!

Got net again ! Friend was setting up things for me & he needed a torch(flashlight). He pushed the wrong button & it paralyzed his arm for 10 mins.!! Maybe I have too many weapons lying around. LOL!
