Recently acquired this 1930's Coca-Cola printed umbrella. These were giveaways to farmers and cart vendors to help shield them from weather and of course promote drinking of the Delicious and Refreshing soda pop.
Not an easy piece to display open...and I think that's bad luck anyway! So I have it leaning, closed, next to the Coke Cave fireplace. I spritzed it with wrinkle releaser, patiently pleating by hand to maximize visual on logo and slogan. The things we do.
Happy Thanksgiving, Dear Collectors!
Great find Dave! Happy Thanksgiving!
Michael
Very nice piece, to add to your other well displayed coke collection.
Happy Thanksgiving too all!
Thank you Michael!

Wow that's a nice piece to own Dave, never seen one before!
The Coke Cave is looking world-class my friend, I'm so happy to get to see all the great items you've been adding lately!
Happy Thanksgiving to You and Yours!!
Cheers!!
Thank you Mani and Bernie, still enjoy the collecting and viewing your wonderful posts as well. Take care over the holiday.
SICK! Never seen one on a tractor
Me neither Perry, "before our time". Seller claimed it was found in a barn next to an old tractor. Doesn't look like it was used much, only slightly faded. Still has the delicate strings attached, used to tie canvas tightly closed. Thanks Music Man. Enjoy the bird later! :0)
Love the historical photos! Great find DN!
Thanks CK!
That is very very cool!!! and refreshing !!
