Essence, food, and sauce.

Here's my H.W Brand & Co. collection of essence jars and sauce bottles. They likely date from the mid 1800's to 1906 showing different examples made by King George IV's head cook. K.G named this sauce A1 when asked by H. Brand for a name. I also like to collect other food jars with the little contents viewing windows in them, or maybe some were where the label was applied but am sure some pre date paper labels. Some of these say made in England on the bottom and still need a good cleaning one day. The small green A1 bottle has a stubborn stain on the inside lip i'd like to see gone some day, but it might have migrated right into the glass somehow. Brand & Co. was purchased by Cerebos at some point and time. Cerebo's still produces Brand's products to this day. They are very popular products in Asia. The little bottles shown are an Empress and a Nabob.
