I have had this firebird for 22 yrs. I did a complete frame off restoration. All the body work and paint as well as all mechanicals were done by me. This car is one of 1250 produced with the 4spd. It still has the original engine and all of the drive train. All the numbers match.. it was a long process since firebirds were not as popular in the 90’s and parts were hard to find in the beginning.. runs and drives like new. The paint is slightly darker than the original vedro green.
Thank you it’s a labor of love.. Pontiac forever...
Love the first generation (67-69) Firebirds and Camaros. Back in high school, I had a '67 Camaro SS while my buddy had a '68 Firebird convert with the 400 HO and hood mounted tach. I had to put a set of traction bars on mine as the '67s had the rear shocks mounted on the same side of the rear axle. This resulted in bad wheel hop when launching hard from a stoplight. GM fixed that the following year by staggering them. You have a very nice car....have fun!
I remember those days.. good times .. thanks.
Very Nice! My friend had one just like it back in the 70's but with the automatic and 400, a lot of engine for that little car!
Thank you... yep that’s the truth...when gas was good it burn rubber in all 4 gears no problem at all.. :0
Awe!!! This is bad ass!!! I've had many different cars and never been able to get them to this point. I still have to say, I miss my 73k5 Blazer the most! Love this.
Thanks.. yea I know... it was some tough times and good times with it. But I wasn’t gonna let it go I’m really glad I kept it. Next is my 71 ta. Had a k5 blazer once... nice ride.
