    Hi,

I brought this sometime ago near Edinburgh from a shop selling antique. It is signed on the base and I believe it says imperial make or something like that from what I gathered from my friend who reads Chinese.

It has dragon one side and bird probably phoenix on the other side. The feathers and claws were made with gold paint which has somewhat worn off at some places now.

Can someone shed light on its age and make?

    Thanks,

    Ash

mark does, not make sense to me , sort of pseudo tongzhi style and suddenly the gilding is coming

the mark is highly spurious , this type of combinations are likely to be from 1970 on
