    This is signed although I can not quite make out the signature. The receipt says Wilcof original. I have tried many various spellings and have come up with nothing involving such a name with aircraft art.
    This is marked 42/100 so this is some sort of limited edition piece. One would think it is an artist of some note although an artist not quite of note may do such a thing. May make them appear to appear an artist of note or perhaps delusions of grandeur. It happens. Does seem to be a nice drawing.
    As for the plane it is a DH-4B which was used by the US in late WWI. Probably more likely used post war. It was a two seater which carried a light bomb load.
    It was designed by Geoffrey de Havilland. Boeing ended up being the main manufacturer although that was post war.
    The important point about this is that it filled up a blank space on the wall.

      Quick check of Internet gives his name as Dan Witkoff. Look for Witkoff biplane to se other photos of airplanes by him
