I have a beautiful and pristine JP Limoge hand painted china set that was a wedding present to my great grandparents in the late 1800's in Bangor, Maine. I have been unable to identify this pattern. Does anyone have an idea what this beautiful dainty blueberry pattern is? Of course, wild blueberries are indigenous to that area of the US, and we grew up picking them. It is extremely sentimental to my mother and I. I would love to identify it. Thank you for your help.

Thank you so much for this name. Do you have any other information about this. Where exactly it was made, year, etc.? My mother (86) will be so thrilled we have made some progress.

The J P L mark stands for the Jean Pouyat Co. in Limoges, France and was used on their tableware from 1890 to 1932. The red mark was put on their pieces as a tribute to Oscar Gutherz who worked for Limoges for a short time in the 1800's. I must admit that I couldn't find the exact design name for your set but being a French Canadian who loves blueberries, the Name "Tiges de Bleuets" (Blueberry Stems) seemed quite fitting. Bob
