bright red ERICOFON with (close but not original) box

This is my red ERICOFON telephone, which I've had since the mid 1980's or so.

It remains in an original ERICOFON cardboard box, though *not* the box this phone came in, it still bearing most of a label on its end identifying the phone that came in it to have been beige in color. The box also has a "RECEIVED" ink stamp of "MID-CENTURY TELE. MAR 14 1978".

Its original half-straight/half-coiled 'hardwired' cord is still with it, though it now has a more modern (and much longer) 'modular plug' cord attached, which I put on it back then when I was still actually using it to talk to people with. ;-) It worked perfectly then, and I have no reason to think it would not still work perfectly now...??
