Japanese pottery "sine wave" plate

10 1/4" (26 cm) diameter pottery plate heavily glazed with a two-color sine wave pattern on a black ground. The clay body is whitish and finely gritty. The underside has a ring foot and the white glaze within the ring exhibits light crazing. There is an impressed mark that I not only can't read but don't even know if it is right side up. You might be able to tell - I would appreciate any wisdom a reader may wish to impart about this piece.
