Down to my last two boxed Matchbox Yesteryears. Looks like I will need get some more oh darn.
This is the Y-6 1913 Cadillac first released in 1967. For the combination of this box and the color of the model it is most likely from 1969, possibly 1970.
It is an attractive and well detailed model but the problem soft top convertible models is that the seat comes off when the top is touched. As it was made as a toy and not meant to last 40-50 years this is not really a defect. But as a collector it is annoying. It can be challenging to get it to display well. Back in the early days of automobiles Convertible tops was the normal style
The details about the 1:1 version of this model are on photo #4. Later own Cadillac became famed for their 12 and 16 cylinder motors.
