PETER MAX POSTER CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT 1968. 36" x 24" This example has been STORED FLAT SINCE 1971.......No tape or pinholes........Original Colors. The vendor described it as such: "Peter Max's masterpiece of kaleidoscopic collage is a rare collectible for Max fans. In this "Pop Art" parody of comic book art and advertising, "Captain Midnight" captures an explosive creative moment in Max's evolution as an artist." I am keeping it stored in the mailing tube until I am ready to frame it. There was no photo available of the complete poster top to bottom.

Great one Hippie! :^D Something that wouldn't be that hard to recreate with a computer today, but a real artist's challenge in 1968! Thanks for showing! :^)

Took me a month to reply Bill, but thanks. When you think of this as being created pre computer age, when one had to cut screens, and use acetate layers and stat machines... yes, it is an amazing bit of work.
