I am trying to help my dad ID this hutch (if that's even what it's called). He has had it for many years and says he hasn't been able to figure out what it is or from which period. Any help out there?

Looks more like a display cabinet which is found in many homes. Cannot tell for sure if the sides are glass ? Sometimes the escutcheons over the lock have a name on the back. There were many old names that made this kind of furniture. Baker, Thomasville and others.
No, the sides aren't glass, the are wood. Will look behind those for a name one day. Thanks for the input. Maybe I'll just look at some of the old names and see if I can find similar. Any idea on a time frame? I am thinking 30s, but I really don't know much about this at all. Thanks again for your comments!
I am not sure of a timeframe as I know they were making these well into the 1960's. I have a book on baker that was from pages of their 1920's to 40's books., but this does not really look like their style. Baker was particularly into a regency period style, this is far from that.
Does anyone know the name of the style or design of the doors - where the box-type embellishments are added to the door panels? Or even the name for the pedestals on the feet?
Thanks!
Phil - Dad has looked through several catalogues and books over the years with no luck. I suppose I could just let it go, but I am a little obsessive sometimes. I'll continue to look at items from the 20s through the 60s. Maybe I'll get lucky and find something similar.
