These are 2 continental art co. Lamps I picked up a few years ago and I was wondering if any one could give me a time line of when they were made . And possibly photos of what they looked like when they were new and original shades on them

Fix your pictures, and mark it as an unsolved mystery. Those are beautiful.

Not really a mystery at all. Continental has a lot of info about the company. Set up about the time of Reglor Lamps and both were competing in roughly the same timespan 1947 or so to 1957 for an idea. They produced many lamps mainly with a man and woman as part of the lamp. Continental was called Continental Art Pottery Co. Ltd. (Look it up on Google). Lamps like theirs were produced in several countries, including Canada. Reglor tried to sue a lot of them for copying designs but the cases were not usually in Reglor's favour. Here are some on the web, you should get an idea of the year made :

I would think around 1947 - 1950. Most of them have no date, but some do and are marked usually on the back near the bottom but there are so many unmarked, even for Continental.
