Hello! I'm new at this, and wanted to share this gorgeous brooch that I inherited. Can anyone tell me about it? I believe it's a flower, but I really can't tell what kind of flower. Thanks!

Very stunning and love the color . Can you photo back of brooch also ? I don't think it is a specific flower rather than artist interpretation of one . Lucky to inherit such a beauty and the jewelry experts will probably know more when they log in :-)
Thanks for responding! I think it's beautiful! It was in a large group of brooches - all in a ziploc bag. My father-in-law collected lots of things, and I think this was a grouping he hadn't really looked at yet. There are some other beauties in there as well that I will post pics of. I will take a photo of the back tonight.
Welcome & love the brooch, beautifully colored
Love the large dark blue trapezoidal shape stone, the shape is like Mani said, an interpretation of a flower, which most of the companies were doing, very beautiful !~
I did take a picture of the back of the Weiss above, but don't know how to tie it to this thread.
There is an Edit this item feature under the "loves" section, if you hit that you can add the back photo to this post, then remember to hit Save item. Hope this helps

I found out early that Weiss could manufacture some of the nicest designs where the presentation of their finest sets imitated the finest of costume jewellery. You sometimes find that at various auctions but rarely on ebay.
Beautiful!
I have this peice in oranges, reds with a green center. I have looked for ever trying to find one like it! Did you find any good info on this peice?
Spectacular brooch!
