The Harrach Jaspis décor was introduced in 1902, the same year the related Hekla décor was presented (see eg my posts Harrach Hekla Décor I-IV). Both décors have the strongly colouring by opake red, green and blue glass splashes over clear glass with an opal inner case in common. Jaspis appears predominantely light green and is décorated excellently by raised relief gilded enamel. My example stands H=26 D=15.5 cm. The colouring is enhanced by matte irisation. Another example and more informations may be found in Jan Mergl: 'From Neue Welt to the whole World, 300 Years of Harrach Glass' on page 310.369.
Extraordinary!
