    This is a neat little sausage or wine press that has the neatest way to operate the pressure plate. I have heard of this type of press, but, I never saw one until I acquired this one. Most sausage press have a geared handle that turns a screw to press the pressure plate on to the meat. This Enterprise Two Quart model uses a spiral pinion to advance the rack thus putting pressure on to the meat ( or grapes, if you are pressing to make wine).
