From what I've researched, Red Jacket makes well pumps and well pump accesseries. The founder, Robert Lafferty, patented the first all metal well pump in the 1870's. One of his relatives died last year in my neiborhood, had an estate sale. And there were two of these signs. I took the one in the best condition. I don't know the date though, can anybody help me?
I would say early late 50s-early 60s. Too bad of the condition..I like the Indian logo.
That's why I bought it, it had really good graphics. I asked the guy why it was in so bad of condition, he said he found it in a puddle of water. I think it might be from the 50's too. The art deco style logo is killer.
