Here are some more of my brooches.
The first picture also includes some buckles, and some c**p stuff: judge as you wish.
The second photo is of my almost valuable brooches.
Most are sterling silver and there is an occasional gold one. A few semi precious stones scattered around but nothing to retire on!
The third photo is bling and some! Again, nothing outstanding but lots of pretties!
Fabulous collection!
Love that sparkly kangaroo in #3
Karen, your collection is terrific! Especially love your silver pieces! The bling is great too, as is your photography. .......your pictures are so clear, well done
Oh wow... now that's a lot of brooches! I especially like the blingy ones.
I'm almost always dressed in black, and I often add a brooch to my outfit to give it a little color and pazazz :) Classy gal, I am :D
Enough to keep one busy for hours, love the sterling and love the last tray as much. This reminds me of searching for more display cases but the ones I see out there are not as much room as yours or mine. Your pics are perfect !~
wow what a wonderful collection !
Thanks again everyone!
IronLace - it's decades in the making, no time in the rationalising (obviously).
Jenni - he's a sweetheart and I had two. One I sent to a US CW friend, and she sent me the sparkly US flag next to the kangaroo. Isn't that neat!
Judy - I'm glad you were able to blow the photos up to see things a bit clearer. There is lots (maybe too much) to see.
Ken - I'm laughing! The difference is I've really got issues, you are very disciplined as a collector.
Anik - a brooch can make anything dress up! I'm sure your glass shows!
Phil - display cases are hard to find. One of these was actually a tacky coffee table photo case with two layers, and I modified it. Your exceptional jewels need better than that!
Mani - thanks! I have enjoyed going through them, showing them, and listening to everyone's comments.
Wow, that's quite a lot of brooches!! What an awesome brooch collection you have!
Thanks Scott, I don't know how I got so many!!
I agree Mary, brooches are great and don't dangle and annoy me. They are good for bags, hats, scarves and socks too!!
Welcome to the broochaholic group ;-)
Not c...p at all here, really all enjoyable!
Thanks sweet Pascale!
So pretty and I see some lily of the valley :)
There are Tigra, and it's a pretty brooch. Thank you!
Wow, that's a whole lot of brooches all together! I particularly love the blue and silver owl in the bottom centre of the second picture, and the red and black ladybird in the top centre of the third picture - but they're all so pretty it would be hard to choose what to wear! Congratulations on a lovely collection :)
Thanks Dante, I have a problem lol!
Good taste you have! The owl is a David Andersen silver and enamel, I love it too.
The ladybird is cheap Chinese I think, but is so much fun .
Karen
Nothing wrong with fun and whimsical brooches - if a piece make you smile, I say wear it! I try to go by the minimalist motto that anything I buy has to either serve a purpose or bring me joy - Owl pieces do that and so do ladybirds :D
Lots of pretty ones!! Nice collection :)
Thanks MrsT!
Hi Karen! I saw that, and immediately thought of your previous avatar ;-)

So cute! Thanks Pascale, it does remind me too of the Nara girl!
