brass floor lamp, "GEORGIAN" (?)

I think similar floor lamps are also sometimes called "bridge lamps". (?) I rescued (swiped) this one from my then-landlord's 'junk storage barn' (he never knew it, there was *so much* crap stacked up in there?!) 20-something yrs ago, polished it up, repainted its base (which was rusty) and put a cord on it -- since then it has developed a pleasant new 'patina'. The milk glass shade came with it, and likely originally would have also held an additional fabric/etc shade to conceal it. [I happen to like it this way, though...?!] The shade (6" across) is truly white, pic 2 has a red bulb lit up within.

Cast into its bottom is the word "GEORGIAN" (or "GEORGEAN"?) and numbers "1045" and "L2". I don't particularly know what any of that means...? I also don't really know how old it is, though recall thinking it looked like it was already several decades old when I got it -- and I've had it for more than a minute now too -- so it could easily be from the 1950's/60's anyway. It stands roughly 57" tall.
