Might this link provide the the answer?

Look at the prunts on the end of the handle......difficult for me to see if yours are exactly the same!
Prunts on my basket and the big Welz are the same :6 petals and a centre. This feature leans towards Welz. 31 cm =12.2".If I understood the link well this size is rare at Welz's items,so the question is still open?
Beautiful yellow :)
Thank you so much for all the loves and the comments:)
Your welcome :)
Lovely tango piece Ivonne! If Peggy thinks Welz, it probably is :)
Yes,Karen.I trust her knowledge entirely:)Thanks for your input:)
As much as both of you seem to have faith in me I'm not sure. The prunt may be identical to the Welz basket in the link (comment one) but Welz was not generally known for putting prunts on basket handles. Additionally Welz baskets usually have a snapped off pontil.
If you search through my posts you'll find a yellow Welz basket.... no
prunts/snapped pontil.
Further back still you'll find an unknown orange basket..... no prunts/polished pontil.
It's possible that Jericho's basket, in the light of its size, was a 'special' made for display somewhere. I started out wanting you to have more information for your own decision and look where it ended!
Peggy,I understand all the pros and cons and that's why I don't want to state definitely about a maker.Anyway, your experience and knowledge in the subject is better than mine and let me watch you for my mistress :)
Wow... that is a big one Ivonne ... love it!
Yes,it's pretty big,Phil:)I appreciate you like it:)
