10 3/8" diameter coupe shape dinner plate with a satin-gloss over solid-color aqua glaze with a "Made in California" backstamp. Is this a Metlox mark? The size is right. Metlox did use the coupe shape for several of their dinnerware lines. The color is very much like the aqua in their "200" (not produced in the coupe shape) line. A recent discussion of a "Skinny Rooster" plate seemed to connect this backstamp to ware created by Metlox as premiums for customers of A&P Markets in California. If so, maybe there is an unrecognized line of Metlox solid-color dinnerware floating around?
To add a small correction - the "200 Series" plates were eventually produced in a coupe shape as well as their original shape.
Harry, here's the mark on Sears Harmony House China by Metlox, on a platter that the bottom looks the same as the "Skinny Rooster" platter, posted earlier :

To conform, or confuse, that is the question! :^)
The line also looks a lot like Orchard Ware! Connected to Metlox? :^)
Thanks Bill for your help with this. For anyone else who is looking - turns out this IS Metlox.
