Going to the Flea Market, in the early morning, is more then finding that treasure, or special thing for yourself, or someone else,
or beating the other buyers, to the sellers goods.
It's more then finding that thing, that others missed, or passed by.
For me, going to the Flea Market, is time for me. It's time for coffee, and snack, maybe!
Time for me, to greet the sun of another day, or sometimes, watch the moon slip away,
but going to the Flea Market is more then that
It's a time to see old friends, that I haven't seen, and talk of things, remember when.
It's time with friends, I saw last week, and talk of things we found, or seek.
It's time to greet people, and meet them, and maybe make new friends too.
Sometimes, going to the Flea Market is more then that! :^D

Thank you for stopping by! All comments, and questions welcome! :^)

That West Coast sunset in the winter is grand Bill, our skies are pale & frosty right now in NY so thanks for the dreamy pix - and you're quite the poet! It sure is nice to enjoy some relaxing down time - J

Thanks Jenni, we do have some beautiful sunsets here, but this is one of our beautiful sunrises! In fact it's beautiful here in California a lot of the time! :^D

Thank you for your very nice comment Jenni, and thanks for the love from Manikin, and you too (Newfld)Jenni ! It's always so nice to get! :^)

Im wondering where you are cuz there aren't that many spots here in So Cal where you can go see movies like this... most have been removed. I've been vending off and on now for geeze almost 20 years and I too have the best time seeing old friends there. I absolutely love it when you pull something out and it sells on the spot, before set up! great post.

This is at the Concord, Calif. Flea Market, and yes with property values so high, finding a Drive-in Theater, is a rare thing, and most use the Flea markets to try to cover the costs that the Theater isn't bringing in now-a-days!
It's a fun time and sometimes there is a race to the sellers, flashlights beaming, to see what's in the box that's coming out NOW!
Thanks for the comment shareurpassion! I did tell some of my Flea Market Friends today, that these were the some of the things that money can't buy! :^)

That is a bit how the Rose Bowl Flea market is for me. That is an all day thing for me.
There is a drive-in theater in Barstow and one in Ontario or Pomona I think.

I loved the Rose Bowl Flea Market fortapache, and hopefully we'll get back there some day! :^D The Flea Market in Concord isn't very big, but it's the only one that I go to regularly, 15 years ago if the sellers didn't get in the gates before 7am, they were probably turned away because it was full, but now at least half the spots are empty, all day!
Thanks for your comment, and the love fortapache, always nice to get! :^)

Beautiful sunrises!! <applause> And I'd love to see/know more about that funky-cool little ashtray in the middle of your "treasures" pics -- what fun it looks to be! :-)

Thanks for the comment AnythingObscure, I saw it, I had to have it! That's the sunrise, and the ashtray! :^D
The ashtray was made in Czech-Slovakia, it's an orange luster glazed pottery, with a decal under clear glaze of 2 wood matches and 2 menthol cigarettes in the bowl, and I know they're menthol because one of the cigarettes has menthol printed on it! On the back are 6 pipes, that I think are for putting out, and holding finished cigarettes, but the ashes from them would go down inside the ashtray, and there's no opening on the bottom, so makes it hard to clean out! Looks never used though! :^D
Thank you for the love AnythingObscure, and you too Judy! :^)
