Perfume bottle by Ercole Barovier in his Cordonato D' Oro decor. The term Cordnato D'oro basically translates to cords of gold. Barovier developed the technique in the late 40's.

What you have here DJ is a perfume bottle by Ercole Barovier in his Cordonato D' Oro decor. The term Cordnato D'oro basically translates to cords of gold. Barovier developed the technique in the late 40's.

      Here's one I posted a while back: https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/148505-barovier-and-toso-cordonato-d-oro-zebrati.

You can clearly see the well-defined golden cords under the ribs. This is the most commonly found example of the decor. A less common example, like yours, still uses the ribs, but the cords are made up of a series of little golden elongated and round bubbles.

Here are some examples of your style of CDO.
