Yes I had to take a simple request for more information on an ashtray, and turn it into another post! :^D
The pottery ashtray is a fun piece, it's luster orange, and yellow glazed, and the bowl has an under clear glaze decal of 2 menthol cigarettes, and 2 matches, 1 of the cigarettes has Menthol printed on it, and on the back are 6 columns, or smokestacks, for cigarettes(smokes). When I first saw it I thought it was a place to extinguish the cigarettes, but then realized that it was probably for access to the cigarettes, for a guests. The ashtray is 6"across, 3 1/4"front to back, and 1"h in the front slopping to 3/4" at the back, and the stacks are 2 1/8" top to bottom. The bottom is marked, in mold 6237, and the brown circle ink mark "made in" "Czecho-" "Slovakia"
The added pieces are a Chesterfield cigarettes tin, that I got with old stamps in it, one is from St. Anthony April 4 1939, NEWFOUNDLAND POSTAGE 5 FIVE CENTS 5 with a picture of a Caribou, and "CARIBOU" "MONARCH OF THE WILDE"
Next a wooden tobacco humidor, with a 2 horses heads top handle, shield paper sticker marked DRUCQUER & SONS BERKELEY 4, CALIF.
Then a bottle of V. Sattui Winery St Helena California Madeira 19% by vol.
A clear with red bottom cut glass drink glass, and 3 books of matches
