This is a antique lithograph. The original painting was done somewhere between 1831-1898 by Franz Lefler. It's called "The Wedding of Amor". The dream of a wedding. I find this most beautiful. Also very nice sized. I just love old prints! Definitely my new thing. There's just so much depth in the picture. Thanks for looking!

It truly is! These pictures just don't do it justice. It's so much prettier in person! I don't have a frame yet that fits it. So had an old piece of glass that I put cardboard over the print and taped it to it. Looks great sitting on my buffet.

I hope you don't mean you put tape on the print??

Ha! No definitely not. I covered the back of the print with card board. Then taped the card board to the glass. With extra cardboard pieces holding it up away from the tape. So it's safe. And a temporary fix until I find something to put it in. It's 14x28 inches. I have a ton of frames but nothing that size.

Next time you remove it from the glass, look at the white accents. I'm wondering if they're added in by hand.

Yes I was looking at those when it first came. They are hand drawn in. There's also a tiny number on the bottom edge of the print.
