This Victorian vase is made from two layers of cased glass - clear, pale amber over a milky, opalescent interior. The vase has a swirling ribbed pattern, & an applied crest in clear pale blue. It measures 13.5 cm tall, 7.5 cm across the top rim, & 6 cm across the base, which has a rough, snapped pontil mark.
    A flea market find.
I think it may be of Bohemian origin - reminds me of another vase I have in this swirl ribbed pattern, which is salmon pink with a dark green rim. Any thoughts welcome.

Nice color combo. I would like to see one of these twice the size. Great score.

Very nice vase IronLace, it's a nice size for a cabinet vase. :^D Now days, a lot of people will collect these smaller sizes, because you can see the beauty of them, without taking up a lot of space! A problem that I have, packed away pieces of beautiful glass and pottery, that can't be seen, is not a good thing! ;^)
