This came with and old Henckel Tool set. Not a clue what it is for. It is inserted into a tool handle then used for who knows what.
What is this tool for? Came in Henckel Tool set. It's about 2 inches long. |

This is the best I can do! :^)
billretirecoll Solingen was where really fine knives were made before the war. They got pretty well bombed out and I question some of the stuff coming out of there anymore, quality wise.
Yes that's true fhrjr2, but a lot of the "Name Brands", like J.A. Henckels, are being produced in China now and not of the earlier, made in Germany quality! :^)
billretirecoll I had a collection of pre war Soligen knives I gave to my oldest son a couple years ago. He started collecting when he was 10 years old and a knife is his weapon of choice. After 17 years he just left the 10th Mountain Division and went back to the 101st. He is in year 18 now and will hopefully live to retire in a couple years.
Yes, Solingen Knives, in particular J.A. Henckels knives were my fathers choice, when he was a Butcher, in the 1950's-early 60's, but todays, are not the same knives!
fhrjr2, tell your son "silent, but deadly", and may God speed! Thank him for his service! :^)
Billretirecoll I believe his words were "quick and quiet"
Tile and glass cutter I still us them. cant afford a diamond one.
